Highly specialized exterior lighting has been installed around the ground so that the pitch forms a breathtaking backdrop for night-time functions in the Pavilion. Discreet floodlights bathe the Media Centre in intense blue light, while three framing projectors, mounted high in the stands, project a sharp rectangle of crisp, white light on to the square.
