I would highly recommend a visit to see this interesting new installation at the Curve Gallery at the Barbican. It consists of twelve pendulums that combine a narrow beam downlight with a thin circular line of light on their sides.
A perfect choreography provokes the visitor to move around the light patterns created. Music or sometimes random mechanical sounds mixed with the smell of dry ice create a unique atmosphere.
