London Craft Week
Posted by Heather Allen on 13 May 2016
In its second year, London Craft Week 2016 is rapidly growing and getting a following from the design and craft communities alike. I had the opportunity to enjoy it more than some as a volunteer which took me from West to East London, discovering the plethora of talented designers and makers in and around what is fast becoming the center of design on the international stage.
Both international and British based brands showcased their work, from supporting Partner Vacheron Constantin to 18th generation shoe maker Sebastian Tarek, London Craft Week brings together the history and tradition of making with the new generation of makers leading the way.
Embracing the skill, knowledge and innovation required in producing the best in quality and craftsmanship, London Craft Week is leading the way in the next wave of luxury. This is the opportunity to meet the makers, see demonstrations and get involved yourself.
Next year is sure to be bigger and better, so put the dates in your diary now, London Craft Week 2017, 3-7 May.
